Only mere moments after dropping the really quite good Beautiful Rewind album, Kieran Hebden has shared a brand new mix of lead single ‘Kool FM’.

Reworked by Butterz and Hyperdub alum Champion, the Londoner strips Hebden’s original to shreds, shoehorning in the kind of gut-churning, womping basslines you’d expect from a scene veteran like himself. Hebden even said via Twitter that “if you’ve seen me DJ anywhere recently then you know this is the big tune,” and we can hardly disagree – it’s bloody gigantic.

The track follows the recent ragged remix from US noise techno bloke Container, and according to Hebden should be out next week.
