Eight years on from Kanye West‘s famous claim that former president George W. Bush “doesn’t care about black people”, the two could be set to meet on television. 

As Exclaim point out, November 19 will see Kanye appear in Real or Magic, a one-off show that sees David Blaine performing to a series of celebrity guests. As well as Kanye, Woody Allen, Katy Perry, Ricky Gervais, Stephen Hawking, Harrison Ford, Olivia Wilde and, yes, George W. Bush are set to appear in the show. Potential for fireworks, right? Well, don’t hold your breath – it appears that the guests will be appearing in their homes, meaning that the chances of Kanye and Dubya actually being in the same room is pretty thin. Still, here’s hoping.
