K Dot brings some dirty talk to a cut from the R’n’B star’s new EP.

LA singer and songwriter Jhené Aiko has finally lifted the lid on Sail Out, the EP that follows up her addictive 2011 mixtape Sailing Soul(s). The seven-track effort features a host of collaborations, including Childish Gambino on previous single ‘Bed Peace’ and Compton rapper Kendrick Lamar on this sultry, slow-burning track, ‘Stay Ready (What A Life)’.

The seven-track Sail Out EP, which is out tomorrow on iTunes, also features guest verses from Black Hippy rapper Ab-Soul and LA newcomer and Odd Future associate Vince Staples. Aiko’s debut full-length, Souled Out, is due out next year.

Aiko is currently on tour with Drake in the U.S. Last week FACT pinned her down in Miami to find out about working with Drake on Nothing Was The Same and why she’d “be lying if I said I made the EP completely sober”.
