Physical Therapy inaugurates new label Allergy Season with free Non-Drowsy EP

In his quest to remain un-Googleable, the New Jersey eccentric launches a label/website that could double as a pharmaceutical advert.

Physical Therapy has spent the past few years cross-pollinating genres with a campy, post-modern approach to his art that has resulted in urban cowboy album covers, websites that seem to be advertising low-budget yoga studios, and superb press photos (like the above collage).

His latest project is a new label, Allergy Season, that promises “genre-free, highly emotive dance music,” and he’s inaugurated the imprint with a free, seven-track EP. The artwork for Non-Drowsy literally checks the boxes of house, techno, electronica, and chill-out, and its contents are indeed pharmaceutical-grade dance tracks.

Stream Non-Drowsy below and download it over at the Allergy Season website. For more Physical Therapy, his latest mix was a stellar, 70-minute tour through the fringes of house and techno.
