Irish beat fiends All City Records have just dropped a new compilation of mutant beat music, stacked end-to-end with exclusive material.
Amada has been compiled by Mamiko Motto – host of NTS Radio’s diverse Hepcat show, and the A&R who, working at Kindred, snouted out Dorian Concept. The set collects exclusive or boxfresh tracks from a host of impressive names. Everything-but-the-kitchen-sink grime producer Darq E Freaker contributes the jarring ‘Psychosis’, and Stones Throw’s resident loony James Pants offers up skweee/motorik hybrid ‘Ritual Magick’. Georgia Anne Muldrow contributes the rootsy ‘Git Thee’, LuckyMe dreamer Claude Speeed offers the excellent SAW 85-92 tribute ‘Crushed Rave’, and Dorian Concept helps out an old friend on ‘Empty Everything’. Other contributors include Obey City, Scntst and Fatima Yamaha.
