Ever dreamt of being bombarded with messages by a randy pop star?

Sure you have. We won’t judge you if the pop star of your dreams was R. Kelly, and if it was, you’re in luck. The king of sexy freestyles has launched a new fan hotline ahead of the release of his new album Black Panties, which is out on December 10.

Callers can sign up to receive eight messages a month from the star, although the content of those messages remains a mystery for now. Song snippets? Naughty emoticons? Odes to Italian sandwiches?

However, Complex have warned that if you call the number and don’t sign up for the messages, you receive an automated text telling you that “consent is not required”, which seems a little shady.

Every minute of the Black Panties promotional whirlwind has been a joy, from discovering the lyrics to new song ‘Cookie’ to hearing Kellz ad lib a song based on the two-word prompt “sex dolphin” (not to mention the incredible resulting remix by LuckyMe producer Ango).
