The Chicago polymath shows off his pipes on his latest tune.

James “The GTW” King continues to turn out So So Def-inspired pop jams, following his Dre Green-assisted ‘Neymar Night’ with ‘Bleach Pool’.

The track first premiered on Kitty Cash’s alt-R&B showcase/mixtape Love The Free, but is now available to stream/download below. King combines his falsetto, a twinkling piano melody, and a booty bass groove on a song inspired by an ex who dragged his clothes through a pool of bleach. “I’ve been told I like ’em crazy,” he writes, “Guess I can’t refute that now.”

King, who also sings as part of R&B collective JODY, broke into FACT’s Best Tracks of 2013 with his remix of fellow Chicagoan Tink.
