“There’s been loads of highlights from this year, firstly I have to give a nod to a few heads that have been dominating my sets and iTunes, I can’t name em all but here’s a few:  JT the Goon, Mr Mitch, Gafacci, Shriekin’ Specialist, Zora Jones, Sinjin Hawke, DJ Mustard, E-40. And of course to Slackk and Oil Gang whos been on fire this year and responsible for bringing in a lot of producers.

Favourite remix has got to be DJ Q’s garage flip of Drake’s ‘From Time‘.

Also 2013 has been a good year for the x-rated tunes haha. Aidonia’s ‘Fi Di Jockey‘, ‘Pon Di Pole’ and ‘Flamingo‘ have been personal favorites. Also a few other tunes worth mentioning are Kalado’s ‘Bad inna bed‘ and Charly Black & J Capri’s ‘Wine & Kotch‘. (The Konshens flip on the same riddim, ‘Pull up to mi Bumper‘, is also wicked).

Nigerian artist Burna Boy is someone I’ve rated for a while now but this year he’s been a stand out artist for me, especially with this tune.”
