The Purple One could be set for first UK tour since 2007.

UK newspaper The Mirror reports that Prince is set to announce a new UK tour in the near future.

When The Mirror asked Prince’s representatives to confirm a 2014 tour they were told, or more appropriately shouted at, “EVERYTHING U THINK IS TRUE.”

If everything we think is indeed true, it would be the first time that Prince has played multiple dates in the UK since 2007 when he took to London’s O2 Arena for 21 nights.

The 55-year-old has had a busy 2013, so it’s certainly not an impossibility at this point. He released new track ‘Da Bourgeoisie’, appeared on Janelle Monae’s new album, hosted parties at Paisley Park and took to the stage during the festive season for a trio of shows. Most recently he’s also been reported to appear on Zooey Deschanel’s New Girl for a pyjama party episode.
