London producer tops off 2013 with a giveaway of one of his most in-demand remixes.

Before he became a name of reference for those seeking forward thinking dance music and production, Om Unit was busy crafting and connecting with like minded musical spirits. Among these were London dubstep scene mainstays Kromestar and Jay 5ive, the latter supported his early releases on his radio show while the former went on to become part of his Cosmic Bridge label.

It was this connection that led the pair to ask Om Unit for a remix of their track ‘Wishful Thinking’, released on their own Bass N Love label back in 2011. Unlike the more uptempo work for which he would come to be known in following years, Om Unit took ‘Wishful Thinking’ into slo-mo territories, dragging the uplifting vibes of the original into a blissful groove.

After appearing on a mix of his and following regular demand, the remix was made available for free download during the holiday season. You can stream it via Soundcloud below and head to Bandcamp for the download.
