NYC house guru Alex Burkat is back, this time working under his “bass alias” Rx.

‘Strike Ah Pose’ is Burkat’s latest excursion, and is due for release on the Hot Mom imprint on February 3. Burkat’s original is backed with three exclusive reworks from Lucid, Detroit legend Mr. De and footwork boss DJ Earl, and each one manages to drag the track in a totally different direction.

For the moment however, you’ll have to content yourself with Burkat’s version, which manages to astound with a truly nauseating amount of low end. We’re serious, ‘Strike Ah Pose’ manages to shoehorn so much sub that it’s got our U.S. office literally shaking under the pressure. We’re actually worried it might induce another polar vortex, perish the thought.
