The word innovator is bandied about very easily these days, but there are few better ways to describe Detroit original Derrick May.
His compositions helped birth and then define a genre, and with ‘Nude Photo‘ he kicked off a sound that still dominates almost 30 years later. Now May is set to head up the lineup for secretsundaze‘s Easter Special, and bring his pristine techno to Brixton’s Electric.
The list doesn’t end there either, secretsundaze have put together a typically diverse and brilliant lineup to compliment May’s crucial selections – Swiss producer Deetron, Arnaldo, and residents James Priestly and Giles Smith finish off the main room, while Livity Sound handle room two with Peverelist, Kowton and Asusu.
