Drummer also promises tour dates and plans for new music with Hella.
The latest update from the ever-unpredictable Death Grips seems to hint at a newfound normality in their approach. Drummer Zach Hill revealed in a Facebook message that the rap-punks are currently recording a new album, with plans to tour “a lot” this summer.
Hill also revealed he’s “still writing” a film – apparently not the rumoured one starring Robert Pattinson – and wants to put out a new album with his long-running math-rock duo Hella “sooner [rather] than later”.
The record would be a swift follow-up to last year’s Goverment Plates, which appeared unexpectedly after a manic summer of tour cancellations and no-show publicity stunts. Expect it to come out on their own label, Thirdworlds, which they launched last year after partnering with Harvest and Capitol. [via CoS]
