If there’s one thing you can always count on Noel Gallagher for, it’s to tell it like it is. Thanks to his frankness, the Oasis guitarist and songwriter is one of the best sources of pop quotables today.
Earlier this week Jezebel came across a YouTube video of Noel commenting on Oasis music videos. Unsurprisingly the ten-minute video is full of outstanding material. And according to the uploader there’s two hours of the stuff on the actual DVD itself, titled Time Flies.
References to looking like Columbo, the trickyness of falsettos, his distaste of actually shooting videos, directors not knowing what they’re doing and much more. We could carry on but you really need to see and hear this for yourself. Be warned, it’s full of expletives.
Then it was alright cos there’s like the chart show and all that, do you know what I mean? Who fuckin’ watches videos these days? No one, a right fuckin’ con if you ask me.
