Festival also pulls a Coachella.
Since 2004, Wireless Festival has been an exclusively London-based event (and not always an uncontroversial one at that). That’s set to change in July, when the festival will take place in both London and Birmingham simultaneously.
They’ve toasted the logistical switch-up with a seriously hefty line-up, including the two goliaths of contemporary hip-hop, Kanye West and Drake. Joining them will also be the freshly reunited OutKast, playing their first joint UK shows since, well, forever. Other major names on the bill include Pharrell, Basement Jaxx, Chance The Rapper, Earl Sweatshirt and Azealia Banks.
