George Zimmerman, the man acquitted of murdering Trayvon Martin, simply refuses to leave the public eye. His latest indecent act? He has agreed to a “celebrity” boxing match with promoter Damon Feldman. While an opponent has not been chosen, Feldman tells TMZ that “we’re not looking at it as a race thing … We haven’t discussed purple, yellow, white, black.”

“Race thing” or not, there is no shortage of people who would like to fight Zimmerman, and one high-profile name has popped up: rapper The Game has offered to fight him. “I would not be boxing for me,” he tells TMZ, “I’d be boxing for the legacy of Trayvon Martin and for his family.”

“I would box him to knock him out,” he added. “I would definitely take pleasure in it. It’s legal, and I want to show him you can solve your disputes without a weapon.” The rapper, who has a tattoo of Martin on his leg, weighs in at 6’5″ and 240 pounds, and was even more succinct: “I will beat the fuck out of him.”

We doubt Zimmerman will take Game up on his offer, but here’s hoping. Feldman is fielding opponents for the March 1 match via email: fightgeorge@hotmail.com.

Update: Feldman tells AllHipHop that Zimmerman “is open to any challengers that make sense, but he is training hard and he said ‘Game is the perfect opponent.’” However, Game has not officially signed any document binding him to a match.

Update Feb 3: Feldman has now revealed that when it comes to rappers, George Zimmerman is most interested in fighting Kanye West. Why, I hear you ask? Because Kanye West has a history of attacking innocent people. There are no words.
