Last year’s Cut 4 Me mixtape made a big impression round these parts, shooting to the upper tier of FACT’s Best Albums of 2013 with ease, so new material from Kelela is guaranteed to get bumped to the front of the office playlist.

Her latest offering is a one-off produced by L.A. beatmaker and former FACT mixer Gifted & Blessed, who dims the lights for one of her softest, most seductive tracks yet, stepping away from the bold bass and percussion that characterises much of Cut 4 Me courtesy of Fade To Mind and Night Slugs producers like Kingdom and Bok Bok.

In addition, Kelela has announced three live dates in the U.S. for the coming months, starting at SXSW in Austin, Texas between March 12-14 and stopping off at The Echo in Los Angeles on April 2 and Rough Trade in New York on April 3. [via Fader]
