Prince’s UK tour started – for real – in London last night, Tuesday February 4.

Performing to 200-odd fans who were tipped off on Twitter hours before the gig, Prince and his band 3RDEYEGIRL played an hour-long set at Camden’s Electric Ballroom, following a Sunday night press conference at Lianne La Havas’s house (no, really).

The group played several songs from their forthcoming album Plectrumelectrum, plus ‘I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man’, a cover of Wild Cherry’s ‘Play That Funky Music’ and more. You can watch a clip of the show above.
