Dystopian soundtrack from A$AP Rocky.

Harlem’s pretty MF has always had an eye for an unusual collaboration, daring to team up with EDM kingpin Skrillex on his Long.Live.A$AP album, for instance – so it’s not too much of a surprise to hear that he’s joined forces with French techno producer Gesaffelstein, who released his album Aleph at the end of 2013 and was also among the many contributors to Yeezus.

Rocky tweeted the news last night, revealing that their collaboration will appear on the soundtrack of Divergent, a Neil Burger-directed sci-fi film coming out on March 21. Update: listen to the track below.

As well as Rocky and Gesaffelstein’s track, the soundtrack (which has Hans Zimmer as its executive producer) includes a song by Pia Mia featuring Chance The Rapper with production from Clams Casino. Might be alright, then.
