Nobody Asked Me (If I Was Okay).

Sky Ferreira‘s profile-boosting support spot on the Miley Cyrus tour has been marred by an on-stage injury.  The incident happened during the Anaheim, California leg of the Bangerz tour yesterday evening. Ferreira fell during her opening track, cutting open her lower right leg. Ever the trooper, the singer claims to have been unaware of the injury for the first 10 minutes of the set (“I just figured it was some blood”).

Ferriera subsequently spent seven hours in hospital, and ended up getting 60 stitches. Despite the tumble,  Ferriera’s tour engagements will continue as planned.

Ferreira’s super-charged Night Time, My Time – our second favourite album of 2013–  will get its long-delayed UK release on March 17.
