Debbie Harry let slip the news at last night’s NME Awards.

NYC punk legends Blondie have revealed they will perform at Glastonbury Festival this year.

Speaking to Metro at the NME Awards, Harry blabbed: “We just heard today – we’re going to be doing Glastonbury.”

The news comes as festival organiser Emily Eavis announced that country legend Dolly Parton will appear at this year’s festival.

Blondie were presented with NME’s Godlike Genius award last night by mockney popstrel Lily Allen, who’ll also be playing Glastonbury in June. [via Independent]
