The Swedish singer-songwriter shares the first taste of her third album.

Lykke Li has revealed her third album’s title and release date: I Never Learn is due May 5/6. When she first announced plans for the album last month, she said the album about “the guilt and the shame and the hurt and the pride and the confusion of being a woman.”

“I always feel like I’ve been slightly misunderstood,” she explained. “As a woman you get judged for appearances or things like that I don’t really care about. If anything I want to be seen as a singer-songwriter rather than a pop artist. I really feel like I’ve found my voice.”

The teaser for the album (which you can watch below) features a few moments of windswept, gently-strummed pop in line with what we’ve come to expect from the Swedish talent.
