Stradbally festival unveils whopping haul of bands.

OutKast, Portishead and the reunited Slowdive have all been announced for this year’s Electric Picnic festival in Ireland.

Other big-hitters joining them on the weekend of August 29-31 include Beck, Chic feat. Nile Rodgers, Omar Souleyman and St Vincent.

Andre 3000 and Big Boi’s appearance marks another stop on their summer-long calendar of reunion gigs, including performances at Bestival on the Isle of Wight and Wireless Festival in London.

The cheapest weekend ticket (for loyal festivalgoers) is priced at €154.50, while the most expensive costs €229.50. Tickets go on sale tonight (March 19) at 7pm. Head to the Electric Picnic website for more information.
