Noisy duo acquire some classical curves.

Brooklyn thrash-pop act Sleigh Bells have borrowed the substantial talents of Night Slugs stalwart Jam City for a remix of ‘Young Legends’, a track from their 2013 album Bitter Rivals.

Stripping out the band’s signature trebly thrash sound, the UK producer tweaks Alexis Krauss’ pop vocal into a reedy echo and underpins it with waves of seismic bass tremors, resulting in a kind of warped slow jam-meets-emotional banger. Hear it below.

Only last week the Classical Curves producer turned in a colossal new mix, Earthly II, while a few months back he gave away a new track, ‘Bells’.
