The Body High co-founder borrows a hook… from Afrojack and Steve Aoki.

Jerome LOL is no stranger to unlikely sort-of remixes: when defunct duo LOL Boys disbanded, they shared left-field edits of pop fare by everyone from Carly Rae Jepsen to Avicii.

Just like the LOL Boys edit of Avicii’s ‘Levels’, the producer’s ‘Feel It For The First Time’ turns the EDM bombast of Afrojack and Aoki’s ‘No Beef’ into something more subtle, with the jazzy, house feel of his solo material and playful synth work reminiscent of your first Casio.
