Last month, James Blake played a mysterious track by “Simon Tallywhacker” called ‘Bloke’ on his BBC Radio 1 show, and as he revealed last night, the song is actually Jamie xx’s forthcoming ‘Girl’. Stream the show now — it’s the first song he plays.

Continuing the antics, Blake interviewed and played a few tracks by Rizzle Kicks fan “DJ Badger,” who Pitchfork posits is Stephen Merchant.

Jamie xx will release ‘Sleep Sound / Girl’ on May 5.
