The artist formerly known as Bobby Browser bids farewell to the Bay.

Oakland ex-pat / Brooklyn-resident Andre Ferreira first caught our attention with a pair of EPs loaded with summery house and funk throwbacks for Amanda Brown’s 100% Silk imprint, under the alias Bobby Browser.

Ferreira is no longer browsing on his latest single, a 12″ for San Francisco’s Icee Hot. Landing on a sound deeper than his previous work, the newly christened Bobby B takes listeners on a 9-minute journey through ‘History’ and boogies with breakbeats on ‘So True’.
