Michigan vet and Swedish label rekindle long-standing relationship for new sub-label.
Seven years since his first appearance on Gerd Janson’s Running Back label, Michigan’s Todd Osborn – the man behind Soundmurderer, Superstructure and Osborne among other aliases – is set to return with T-Rhythm Trax vol.1, due next month on July 14.
The release is actually part of a new bonus beats sub-label for Running Back, inaugurated by Redshape earlier this year. Osborn’s release promises five “DJ helpers you always dreamed to possess” while Janson has also alluded to a possible reissue of beat tracks Osborn did with long-standing partner Tadd Mullinix under their TNT guise.
Previews of T-Rhythm Trax vol.1 and its stripped-back, rugged dancefloor appeal are up on the Clone website.
Osborn was most recently seen on FaltyDL’s new Blueberry Records, where he delivered the Michigan Dream three-tracker.
