The Mississippi rapper/producer bundles his freebie tapes.
Fans of lush, shiny Southern hip-hop are still checking their watches for Big K.R.I.T.’s long-in-the-tooth Cadillactica LP. In the meantime, though, they’ll have this chunky box K.R.I.T. box set to keep them going.
The Underground Edition will compile K.R.I.T’s last four mixtapes: 2010’s K.R.I.T Wuz Here, 2011’s Return of 4eva, 2012’s 4Eva N A Day and last year’s King Remembered in Time tape. The release arrives via Nature Sounds, who have handled previous physical editions of K.R.I.T. releases. The numbered sets will also include a T-shirt, poster and a selection of stickers.
The Underground Edition will arrive on vinyl and CD in October, limited to 500 copies. A tape edition will also be available; only 250 copies will be manufactured.
