Warren G. Harding, the 29th President of the United States, is best known for a scandal-rocked presidency that ended abruptly when he died in office in 1923. Now he has a new claim to fame: a few weeks ago, the Library of Congress released a treasure trove of love letters written by Harding to his mistress Carrie Fulton Phillips, in all their lurid detail.
The great minds at Jimmy Kimmel Live decided to have G-funk original Warren G read excerpts of the letters as that legendary four-bar sample of Michael McDonald’s ‘I Keep Forgettin’ made famous by ‘Regulate’ played in the background. Watch it below.
