Red Bull Music Academy have announced details of this year’s Notting Hill Carnival party.

RBMA’s August bank holiday blow-outs are always some of their most in-demand, and this year sees Basement Jaxx headline. The duo have their first album since 2009, Junto, in the pipeline, and will be joined by a slew of guests. Elsewhere on the bill, revellers will be treated to sets by Mixpak Records’ (the label behind Popcaan’s Where We Come From, Vybz Kartel’s Kingston Story and singles by the likes of Murlo and Famous Eno) Mixpak Soundsystem, and London carnival killers The Heatwave.

As ever with RBMA’s Carnival party, tickets will be free and available via a ballot system. Entrants will be able to apply from Monday August 11 to Friday August 15 – for more information head here.
