Raphael ‘Raf Daddy’ Rundell and Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard are back with another taster of their forthcoming new album.
Entitled The Night is Young, the record is set to arrive on October 13 (artwork is above), and is the selection of tracks we’ve already heard are anything to go by it’s gonna be a good’un. Latest single ‘Money Man’ emerged a few weeks back, but is now graced with a spiffy set of animated visuals which play up the biting satire with a smirking attack on capitalist society.
It’s surprisingly politicized stuff, and boasting a neat vocal from Stylo G isn’t a slouch musically either. ‘Money Man’ will be featured on the duo’s Lambs Bread and Weepers EP, which is set to drop on August 25, and they’ve announced that their debut live show will be at London’s Elektrowerkz on September 3, so if you fancy attending that one, you’d better grab tickets immediately.
The Night is Young will be released on October 13 via Southern Fried, and you can pre-order it here.
