Belgium’s much-loved techno festival I Love Techno shows its full hand.

Arriving on November 8 at the Flanders Expo in Ghent, pioneering festival I Love Techno is geared up to welcome in some of the worlds most important DJs and performers. This year, the festival is set to go back to its roots, with a selection of names that helped make the genre fizz in the first place. Techno pioneer Jeff Mills, French house stalwart Etienne De Crecy (performing Super Discount 3 live), Underworld, Dave Clarke, DJ Rush and more all represent the old guard, but that doesn’t mean that I Love Techno has kept its eyes off the future.

Paul Woolford, Brodinski, Daniel Avery, Audion, Loco Dice and loads more are set to make a case for electronic music’s new wave, and we have a feeling they’ll do just fine. I Love Techno’s press release probably says it best when they describe the festival as “massive warehouse rooms fitted with the most insane light and sound displays on the planet filled with 35,000 like-minded warriors on a mission.” You know what to do.
