It’s been pretty clear that The Weeknd peaked early: ‘What You Need’ is possibly the highlight of his greyscale R&B output, before his issues became too bothersome to bear.

Flash back to those halcyon days with this remix of ‘What You Need’ by R&B aficionado Jacques Greene, who was on quite a roll when he edited the original into nearly seven minutes of 2-step laced house back in 2011.
