South London’s Swindle returns with the Walter’s Call EP.

The young producer has been going from strength to strength in the last few years, notching up releases on Deep Medi and Butterz an producing for Roll Deep and Footsie – here however grime is a distant memory as Swindle welds together footwork and, er, jazz.

‘Walter’s Call’ is the first taste we’ve had of the forthcoming EP of the same name, and it’s a surprisingly harmonious union given the disparate collection of sounds – Swindle’s obsession with jazz is clearly growing after last year’s Long Live the Jazz full-length.

Walter’s Call EP will be released October 20 via Deep Medi and Brownswood.
