Avant Art Film returns for a third year with its most impressive programme to date.

The film festival is an arm of Wrocław’s Avant Art festival which is in its seventh year and boasts a lineup featuring Ryoji Ikeda, Supersilent feat. John Paul Jones, Keiji Haino, Stephen O’Malley, Peaches, Forest Swords, Dean Blunt and Haxan Cloak.

Co-organized by In-Edit, the film programme consists of a series of documentaries including Death Metal Angola, the story of how hardcore music is a path to healing in Angola; synthesizer documentary I Dream of Wires; A Band Called Death which focuses on early punk band Death; Bjork’s Biophilia Live; and others from Peaches, Kathleen Hanna and more.
