Konx-Om-Pax and COH also on board for the immersive late-night show.
Bristol’s Arnolfini has a unique event lined up for this Friday, September 19, helmed by Welsh bass boss Benjamin Damage. The Berlin-based producer will lead five hours of multimedia performances, with Bristol-based AV artist Panther Panther! contributing immersive visuals to Damage’s set while Glaswegian artist Tom Schofield will bring his musical project Konx-Om-Pax to the screens.
On top of that, Russian producer CoH, who’s released on Raster-Noton and Editions Mego, will deliver some “seductive pulsar excursions” that modulate live video feedback produced by graphic artist and animator Tina Frank, while Brazilian AV artist HOL will use custom-built hardware, chance elements and high concepts to improvise a sound and image performance. There’ll also be a live coding AV performance with a free jazz touch from Thor Magnusson.
Cine-Seizure is part of the city’s annual short film and animation festival, Encounters. Tickets are on sale now from Encounters priced at £10 or £9 concession.
