CYPHR reveals another track from Ekleipsis, his forthcoming EP for Her Records.

Where CYPHR’s last single, ‘Brace’ / ‘Gloss Finish’ was a no frills (well, apart from that massive breakdown) pair of dancefloor tracks, the music he’s disclosed from Ekleipsis has been more brooding. In some ways, ‘Sun’ – which we’re premiering below – is the yin to the already-revealed title track’s yang: both move slow, with a hip-hop-style leadline and distant clangs forming the percussion, but ‘Sun’ is light and hopeful where ‘Ekleipsis’ seems to wade further into the darkness.
