Further details have emerged about the mythical third album by Dr. Dre. Contrary to years of speculation, the project will no longer be titled Detox.

According to producer Dawaun Parker, a member of Dr Dre’s Aftermath stable who has earned production credits for the likes of 50 Cent and Lil Wayne, “the album he’s working on is not called Detox. He scrapped Detox a couple of years ago and came up with another title. I won’t say what the title is because I haven’t seen it online or anything yet.”

“He was like ‘We’re going to call it this. And we’re going to put it out this way, this way and this way.’ And he told a couple of people, and we kind of knew that that’s the thing we were working on and if we get the joint that he feels like ‘Here is the joint I can lead off with’ that that’s what the project will be. I am under the impression that it is still that one.”

Parker concluded “to me the music is there and its like I feel like one day he’s going to wake up and say ‘Here, today’s the day and I’ll put it out’ because the music’s been there, you know.”
