Tune in this Wednesday for music from Joey Bada$$, Little Simz and many more.
Channel 4’s brand new music show Four To The Floor launches this Wednesday with the first of a four-part series.
The team behind the programme promise “a kind of mad journey through documentary film, performance, animation and music video with no presenter”, adding: “We believe there is a creative renaissance happening right now that has not been represented in a mainstream media space, and this is our chance to show, not just talk about, what is happening out there.”
The first episode features Joey Bada$$, Little Simz and Denzel Himself plus music from Mac De Marco, Majid Jordan, Murlo x Novelist, while next week we can expect Young Fathers, The Hics, Rhett Nicholl and more. Four To The Floor will air every Wednesday at midnight for four weeks, starting September 24 – check out the teaser below.
Earlier this year Channel 4 aired a five-part Music Nation series looking at Britain’s underground scenes from jungle to hardcore punk, while more recently we watched Annie Mac’s series about the rise of the superstar DJ.
