Our man in the Midlands pitches up on Futureboogie.

We’re big fans of Mark E’s chugging, rough-hewn take on house here at FACT, so we’re delighted to hear about a snappy follow-up to Product Of Industry, his LP for Spectral Spools released at the start of this year.

The three-track Activity EP is is first release for Bristol imprint Futureboogie, and sees the Brummie producer wading into murky, acid-spiked waters with a shape-shifting track that stomps along at a “house music pace but with plenty of techno swagger”, as the label explains.

The EP is due on vinyl on October 27 with a digital release to follow on November 10. XLR8R have the track premiere – head on over to hear it.

Back in February he told FACT about his new analogue direction on Product Of Industry, and he delivered a top-drawer FACT mix for us a year ago today.
