The former Sonic Youth frontman has shared his first album since 2011.
Back in August Thurston Moore unveiled the first single from his latest album The Best Day. As of today the album is now available to stream in full.
The Best Day was recorded alongside Sonic Youth drummer Steve Shelley, My Bloody Valentine bassist Deb Googe and Guapo guitarist James Sedwards. The trio have recently been accompanying Moore on tour as The Thurston Moore band.
Thurston Moore’s The Best Day is released October 21 via Matador Records. Stream the album in full over at NPR.
Moore will also feature alongside Washington hardcore luminaries Ian Mackaye, Henry Rollins and Bad Brains’ H.R. in an upcoming documentary entitled Salad Days.
