Ever-adventurous art rockers These New Puritans share an unreleased track. 

On October 20, The Vinyl Factory will release Expanded – a limited 2xLP live album documenting the band’s performance at The Barbican in April 2014, augmented by a 35-piece orchestra.

The recordings featured an assortment of tracks from their three albums – 2007’s Beat Pyramid, 2010’s austere Hidden, and last year’s rich, pastoral Field of Reeds – plus a clutch of previously unreleased material.

‘Spitting Stars’ is one such track – a sumptuous, stately composition, carried by the orchestra and Jack Barnett’s keening vocal. Scroll down to hear the track.
