Britney Spears has spent the last year performing her Piece of Me show at the Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas to the tune of $310,000 per performance, or almost $30 million over two years.

If that number wasn’t eye-popping enough, TMZ reports that the ticket sales of her show have been so good that she was able to negotiate for an even larger stake in the residency. With back end, merchandising and other perks, she’ll earn $475,000 per show — just behind top Vegas earner Celine Dion ($476,000).

At her new rate, and with an increase to 140 shows over the 2-year period, that’s about $1 million per week. Not bad for an artist whose last album was “palpably depressing.”
