One of Detroit’s unsung heroes serves up three slices of top quality house and techno.

Veteran producer and DJ Norm Talley has unveiled his latest 12″, a three-track EP entitled The Palmer Park Project due to arrive on the now Australian-based Tsuba imprint.

Opening track ‘Mid-Nite Mad-Ness’ is an excursion into the deep end of techno, evoking shades of Talley’s classic ‘Cosmic Waves’ with its hypnotic bass line. On the flip side, ‘Holiday’ finds Talley journeying into the realms of deep house, pairing mesmerising chords with deft percussion and constructing an irresistible low-slung groove. ‘One Track Mind’ rounds out the 12″, occupying sonic territory somewhere in between the first two cuts.

The Palmer Park Project EP is available now on 12″ vinyl. A digital release is scheduled for November 24.
