Two house and techno grafters are in the Radio 1 hotseat over the next fortnight.

Ostgut Ton’s Steffi will bring the Panorama Bar vibe to her Essential Mix tonight at 4am, while next week it’s the turn of a long-serving London DJ Huxley.

It’s been a big year for both acts, with Steffi releasing her latest album Power of Anonymity while Huxley finally dropped his debut full-length, Blurred. FACT TV paid a visit to the Aus artist’s studio earlier this year to challenge him to make a track in just 10 minutes, and he smashed it, of course.

Radio 1 have delivered some solid Essential Mixes this year, from Caribou, MK, Jackmaster & Oneman and Marcel Dettmann.
