The Atlanta rapper performed his breakout single on TV for the first time.

iLoveMakonnen was the musical guest on The Tonight Show last night. Wearing a santa hat, Makonnen performed his ubiquitous single ‘Tuesday,’ backed by house band the Roots.

Makonnen’s TV debut caps off a huge twelve months for the artist. Following his emergence from relative obscurity early this year, the trained cosmetologist signed a deal with Drake’s OVO Sound imprint and scored a Grammy nomination for ‘Best Rap / Sung Collaboration’.
