The Highlands producer channels hazy dreams into frenetic dance tracks.

Scottish newcomer Cain often looks beyond the sounds of his Highlands home: last year’s Mora EP was inspired by “the haunting landscapes of Slavic nightmares,” while his forthcoming Savan EP takes its cues from Indian music.

The EP is the second in a trilogy of releases leading up to his debut album, and is due out on December 15 via Fine Grains Records; until then, stream it in full below. Along with five originals, the EP is backed with remixes by grime master Slackk and Hyperdub iconoclast Morgan Zarate.
