Red Bull Music Academy will go back to the Old Queen’s Head in North London next month for a thrifty two-hander.

Seasoned radio DJ and Brownswood boss Gilles Peterson will present one of his special ‘Bag Full of 7″s’ sets, dipping into his wealth of carefully curated 45s, while Houndstooth DJ and producer Throwing Snow will deliver a meaty three-hour warm-up set.

The best bit is that you’ll only need to put down a pound to guarantee a night of solid tunes, which is very welcome at the cash-strapped end of the year. The night takes place on Sunday, February 1 from 9pm to 1am at The Old Queen’s Head, 44 Essex Road, London N1 8LN.
