Spooky, Mattwizard, Shiftee, Starkey and more featured.

Slit Jockey is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, and to mark the occasion, the label will drop its fourth Choice Cuts compilation. Along with tracks from label regulars and US grime obsessives like Shiftee are contributions from Spooky, Mattwizard and Loom.

“It was really great curating the songs here, each of these tracks makes us smile and screwface at the same damn time,” says co-founder Dev79, while Starkey adds, “We tried to represent many facets of grime, reflecting the diversity of our tastes and the sound.”

Stream Loom’s ‘Burning Chrome’ below; of the producer-to-watch’s tracks, it’s most reminiscent of ‘Fukushima’. Choice Cuts 4 will be available via Juno on January 19 with a formal release on February 2; the cover and tracklist follow.
